Air Traffic Control Branch IMPACT represents the Air Traffic Controllers employed by the Irish Aviation Authority in Ireland.
They are currently 3 ATC centres (Shannon, Cork & Dublin).
Shannon ATCC provides an Aerodrome control service at Shannon Airport and an ATC service for all overflights within the Shannon FIR/UIR/NOTA/SOTA excluding the Dublin TMA.
Cork ATCC provides an Aerodrome and Approach control service at Cork airport. The Approach control service is scheduled to be transfered to a new central approach control service in the Dublin ATCC in Early 2008.
Dublin ATCC provides an Aerodrome control service at Dublin airport and ATC service to all aircraft in the Dublin TMA. The centralised Approach control service will be located in the Dublin ATCC.
