Joint letter to the EC on ATSEP & Supervisor Competency

Joint letter sent on 18 September 2026 to the European Commission, co-signed by ATCEUC, ETF, and IFATSEA, asking the Commission and EASA to:

• Update ATSEP training to cover emerging digital, cloud, and cyber-resilience competencies.

• Recognize Operational Supervisors with practical training for cyber-induced operational disruptions.

• Fast-track action via EASA guidance materials and joint exercises without waiting for long regulatory cycles.
